Common questions about commissions, collections and collaborations
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, I welcome commission enquiries for both private collections and architectural projects. I approach each commission individually, with attention to the space, the materials and your vision. Use the contact form to discuss your project; I will reply within 2–3 working days to arrange an introductory meeting.
What is the typical lead time for a commissioned work?
Timing varies depending on the scale and complexity of the work. Smaller pieces typically take 6–8 weeks, while larger installations may require 3–6 months. This includes design consultation, material selection, the making process and – where needed – final installation. During our first conversation I will provide a clear timeline.
Are the artworks on this website for sale?
Selected works are available for purchase directly through my studio. Some pieces on this website form part of private or corporate collections and are shown as portfolio work only. For enquiries about a specific work or pricing, please contact me via the contact page.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship artworks worldwide. Each piece is carefully packed for safe transport, with particular attention to delicate textile and glass works. Shipping costs and any import/customs charges depend on the destination and are calculated based on the delivery address. For large installations I can arrange specialist art transport.
Can I visit your studio?
Studio visits are welcome, by appointment only. This allows me to welcome you with my full attention and discuss your interests in depth. The studio in Aartrijke, Belgium is also a wonderful opportunity to see works in progress and discuss potential commissions in person. Please contact me at least one week in advance to arrange a visit.
What materials do you work with?
My practice centres on natural and sustainable materials such as sisal, silk, wool, linen, hand-made paper and glass. I select materials carefully and prefer sustainably and ethically produced fibres. I choose each material for its tactile and visual qualities; I often combine traditional techniques such as hand weaving with contemporary approaches to material processing.
