Research grant awarded by the Flanders Arts Institute

I am honoured to receive a research grant from the Flanders Arts Institute. In the coming months I will explore innovative applications of traditional Belgian linen weaving techniques within contemporary sculptural forms.

The research combines archival study, material tests in the studio and small trial series that may later grow into larger works. I will share intermediate steps for those interested in the making process.
